M.A.S.O. Interpreter

Brad Fogg is the M.A.S.O. State Interpreter of Soccer Rules. He replaced Bob White of the Northern Maine Board in 2003. Bob had given better than thirty years of his life to the sport of soccer as a referee, referee mentor, instructor and M.A.S.O. rules interpreter.

All rule interpretations are based on the National Federation of High School Sports Soccer Rules and Rules established by the Maine Principals Association. Brad also works closely with M.A.S.O's Local Board Interpreters to insure that rules are uniformly interpreted and applied throughout the state.

Brad is, and has been, a member of the Western Maine Board of Approved Soccer Officials since 1975. Prior to that he was a member of the Northern Maine Board of Approved Soccer Officials and has been a member of the Downeast Board of Approved Soccer Officials. Brad is a member of the National Intercollegiate Soccer Officials Association since 1977.  Brad started his N.I.S.O.A. career by attending officials' camps run by Bill Fortin at the University of Connecticut. He has been fortunate to have been mentored by many fine collegiate level referees and is still learning!

Brad has officiated at all levels of high school soccer, including boys and girls championship games in all classes. He has also refereed two N.A.I.A. District 5 championship games. He currently serves as the President of the New England Intercollegiate Soccer Officials Association
